As soon as you log in, you will need to hit the "STOP" button before you are redirected to your email.
|
Click on the "Email Filtering" icon down on the bottom right of the screen.
|
That will bring you to this screen, where you will need to clck on the "Create a New Filter" button at the top left of the screen.
|
-
Fill in a filter name, "Spam" is a good choice.
-
Under "Rules", in the first pop-up box, choose "Spam Status"
-
In the pop-up box just to the right of that one, choose"begins with"
-
In the box right under them, type the word "YES"
-
Under "Actions", choose "Deliver to folder". As tempting as it might be to choose "Delete" and not even have to deal with spam, I advise against that. I don't know how sensitive the spam filter is and you may get some mail you need deleted without even knowing it.
-
Click on the "Change" button at the right and a list of your folders will pop up. Click on "Junk". Your screen should be filled in exactly like the picture below.
-
Finally, click the "Activate" button at the bottom.
|
Click on "Home"
|
And then click on "Read Mail Using" whichever one you chose, to bring you to your email.
|
Now, at least all that spam will go into a different folder. There you can scan through it to see if there is anything you really need to keep, and delete the rest.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
